When it comes to seafood on the go, there's no better option in the Valley then The Maine Lobster Lady. From early November until things get too darn hot, The Maine Lobster Lady owner Diane Santospago hits the streets of Phoenix bringing a taste of the northeast to the southwest. Then around April she packs up and heads back to Isle au Haut, an island off Maine.

During the season she offers a variety of seafood-centric dishes to Phoenix diners including lobster bisque, shrimp puffs, and Maine seafood chowder. The all-star of the menu, however, is the Maine Lobster Roll.

Santospago's version -- which can be ordered "traditional style" or "hot and buttered" -- features giant hunks of lobster that tastes so fresh you might just thing you're somewhere else entirely. We like ours traditional style, which means served chilled with a touch of lemon aioli on a buttered grilled roll.
