Support the independent voice of Phoenix and help keep the future of New Times free.
Some people mark the changing seasons by the color of leaves or dropping temperatures, but here in the Valley, fall arrives when Four Peaks Brewery in Tempe releases its fall seasonal Pumpkin Porter.
And we've got good news, beer lovers. By that measurement, fall is just around the corner.
This year, Four Peaks Brewery will debut its cult-classic brew on Thursday, September 1. Starting that day, you'll be able to get a pint of the state's top selling seasonal at any of the Four Peaks brewpubs, and on Wednesday, September 7, the beer will hit store shelves around the state.
You'll be able to buy the beer in six-pack cans, as well as get your growler filled with the savory pumpkin pie-inspired brew at Four Peaks locations in Tempe and Scottsdale. And if you want be to able to sip your Pumpkin Porter with your turkey and stuffing on Thanksgiving, you'd better stock up, because this year the brew will only be available until Wednesday, November 23.
