You probably know the de la Cruz last name. The family has operated a handful of restaurants around town, including El Sol Mexican Cafe & Bakery and El Zocalo Mexican Grill in Chandler and Mangos Mexican Cafe and the now-closed De la Cruz Bistro in Mesa.
And now Obed de la Cruz has brought the family’s specialties to Central Phoenix at Mejico, his new restaurant located in the former home of Linda’s on Osborn, just up the street from Bink’s Midtown.

The restaurant opened last week and offers, lunch, dinner, takeout, and a full bar. The menu includes a selection of family specialties, seafood entrees, and salads.
