In 2015, Chandler-based SanTan Brewing branched out into new avenues of alcohol when it launched SanTan Spirits. In addition to its line of popular craft beers, the company now produces whiskey, gin, vodka, liqueur, and bitters.
It’s perhaps no surprise, given SanTan’s dual expertise in producing canned beer and hard liquor, that SanTan is now set to ride the canned cocktail wave that’s been sweeping across the country these past few years.
Its new SunSplash Vodka Soda comes in three flavors: Watermelon, White Peach, and Cherry Lime. Like a lot of canned cocktails, these 12 oz. drinks are fairly low-impact, too, healthwise: 100 calories, less than a gram of carbs, no sugar, gluten-free, and 5 percent ABV.
You can now find these in four-packs or single cans at Total Wine, Bashas’, some independent liquor stores in the Valley, and, natch, the SanTan Gardens Taproom in Chandler. You’ll also be able to snag a SunSplash at some local bars and restaurants soon.
