Downtown Mesa residents looking for a place to pop into for a quick lunch or a nitro cold-brew coffee have a new option as of today, the grand opening of Worth Takeaway. The restaurant is located at 218 West Main Street in Mesa and serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
The spot's concise menu features everything from a pastrami croque madame to rotisserie roasted chickens — and the restaurant's using plenty of local purveyors. Gluten lovers may recognize Proof Bread as Jared Allen's bakery that was named a finalist in Martha Stewart's American Made awards last year. Other featured food producers include Danzeisen Dairy, Provision Coffee, The Simple Farm, Crooked Sky Farms, and Abby Lee Farms.
