It's been several years since Zang Asian Bistro closed its doors in downtown Glendale but there's finally some good news for the restaurant's fans.
The neighborhood spot has reopened its doors at 6835 North 58th Drive in Glendale, bringing the cuisines of China, Japan, Singapore, and Malaysia to the downtown neighborhood.
The restaurant, now under the ownership of Tom Harvey, will be serving a variety of Asian cuisines. Harvey also owns Cuff, the New American restaurant that opened last summer in the space adjacent to Zang.
Zang's menu includes dishes ranging from popular Asian plates such as Shanghai Beef ($9 - $12) and Egg Drop Soup ($8) to harder-to-find dishes such as Malaysian Chop Sooee ($9 - $12), and Fried Lemon Pepper Tofu with Red Bell Peppers ($9). Many dishes can be ordered in multiple heat levels to allow diners to customize their dining experience.
