So Carrie wasn’t quite in the ’80s (1976, to be precise), but we still think that’ll be our costume inspiration for Hot Pink’s second annual Halloween party this Friday night, October 29. After all, the theme is “’80s Prom Gone Bad,” and Carrie’s prom was about as bad as they get. The infamous Hot Pink (at Karamba, 1724 East McDowell Road) promises a costume contest and cheap drink specials while DJs Cowboy Colt, Sleazy Sean, and Billy Bedfellow bring the New Wave, rock, electro, disco punk and Brit pop. Even the not-quite-legal partyers can make it in once the clock hits 2 a.m. See you there.
