Jen Deveroux has become the hipster queen of putting on cutie-pie parties for the big-sunglasses crowd, like this summer’s Adult Swim and Tune in Tokyo. So it’s somewhat apropos that the 30-something promoter’s latest weekly gala is called Royal Filth and will take place every Saturday at the Rose and Crown Pub, 628 East Adams Street. While some of Deveroux’s usual DJ cohorts will guest star — including PaNtYf1Sh (a.k.a. “the most beautiful little boy you’ve ever seen”) — she’ll also feature such electro-spinning newbies as Young Marlon Brando and Chente. Local indie-rock bands will also perform every week. On Saturday, October 3, We Fear the Bees, and Hooves are scheduled to appear. The party starts at 9 p.m. with $2 PBR beer bongs and $3 Red Bull vodkas offered throughout the evening. Call 602-256-0223.
