How big deal is the Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction to Scottsdale? Important enough that Scottsdale Mayor W.J. “Jim” Lane named the week of January 17 through 23 “Barrett-Jackson Week” in honor of the company’s 40th annual event.
This year’s auction figures to live up to the honor. The shindig will feature over 100 classic cars, ranging from a 1924 Mercedes convertible to a 2002 Porsche Boxster S. The event will also feature fashion shows, discussion panels, and a range of demonstrations.
