In case you’ve missed America’s Best Dance Crew (ABDC) entirely, breakdancing has come a long way from dudes with names like Ozone and Turbo (Breakin’, anyone?) battling it out on the streets or in clubs. The National Breakdancing League, founded in 2006, has turned breakdancing into a structured competitive sport, complete with teams/crews, seasons, and a national championship on April 10 at the Amen Zone in downtown Phoenix.
. On Saturday, April 3, Valley breakdancers battle for a special guest spot at next week’s championship.
