Robots aren’t supposed to have emotions, but don’t expect Red Hot Robot’s final show in their current space (nestled between Stinkweeds Records and Smeeks) to be without its outpouring of feelings.

Since 2007, Red Hot Robot has been one of the few outlets dedicated exclusively to designer art toys in the Valley. Playing a hand in larger exhibitions like “Munny Grubbers” and “Milk Munny,” RHR definitely upped the visibility of the culture. “Only Locals” looks back at the artists that were a big part of its run. Don’t reach for the hankies quite yet, though; Red Hot Robot isn’t closing but rather moving to 6042 North 16th Street in early March.

Tuesdays-Sundays. Starts: Feb. 4. Continues through Feb. 25, 2011
