Don’t expect lap dances or bumpin’ and grindin’ when you see The Gentleman’s Club perform. On second thought, there might be some of that, depending on the suggestions thrown out by the audience to the sometimes-raunchy, always-funny long form improv troupe.
The three-person group has quickly made a name for itself in the local improv scene since they formed last year and recently made their Phoenix Improv Festival debut, touching on everything from Michael Jackson to the sinking Titanic. “The audience can expect high-energy sets with rapid-fire dialogue, quick wit, and hilarious and often off-the-wall scenarios,” says founding member Craig Chenery.

Will you step up to support New Times this year?
At New Times, we’re small and scrappy — and we make the most of every dollar from our supporters. Right now, we’re $15,500 away from reaching our December 31 goal of $30,000. If you’ve ever learned something new, stayed informed, or felt more connected because of New Times, now’s the time to give back.
