In honor of the 10th anniversary of the lake’s opening, the City of Tempe is offering gratis kayaking and sailing. Kayaking and boating and safety demos are scheduled for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with manually powered, wind-powered, or electric-powered craft from 10 to 6. The location is the Marina at College Avenue south of Curry Road.
