What does baseball have in common with a touring stand-up comedian? Foul balls.

The Seattle Mariners Spring Training Comedy Tour thankfully doesn’t feature the shitty sports team, but rather Comedy Central alumni Jeff Dye, Brian Moote, and Andrew Sleighter — all close friends from Seattle’s comedy open mic scene.

These guys are major league. The strangely likable Dye placed third in the sixth season of Last Comic Standing behind winner Iliza Shlesinger, which helped to land him an MTV gig. Moote is a funny mother-pleaser with a sports radio show, and Sleighter’s bright cynicism earned him a spot opening for Gong Show host Dave Attell.
