Just because Super Happy Funtime Burlesque is based in the Midwest doesn’t mean you’re going to find a Prairie Home Companion-esque ensemble cast. That’s because there ain’t nothing prairie about this naughty musical comedy act.
Tonight, the troupe lands in the simmering hot streets of Tempe, where you can witness hot chicks in fishnets, dudes and dudettes in fake mustaches performing strip teases, and personas with names like Lala Vulvaria and Camilla Cupcake. If you’re able to come up with a more original way to enjoy your Friday night other than nearly nude girls, crazy magicians, and an MC by the name of Mr. Happy Pants, well, then, we really don’t know what to do about you.
