There’s that period of time between the end of fall finals and the beginning of spring term that downtown Tempe feels a tad ghostly. If it weren’t for tonight’s Thursday Night Market at Tempe Urban Garden, you’d probably be able to hear a pin drop on Mill Avenue.

We’re pretty happy to visit the weekly shindig that’s been popping since September, especially since it’s all local, including its growers, musicians, artists, and crafters. Plus, we happen to be monsters at cornhole, the Midwestern-born beanbag game that’s part of the weekly fun.
