This community art space is all about making your artistic visions into a reality. Alan Fitzgerald and local artists Carol Panaro-Smith and James Hajicek turned an enormous dance studio in Gilbert into a 7,000 square-foot complex of gallery space, classrooms and photography labs. Art Intersection is home to three galleries, each of which can also be rented for private events, meetings and parties. If you’re more interested in making art than just looking at it you’ll also find a Photographic Arts Lab with space and equipment for film developing and printmaking. And the digital photographer has resources too, in the Digital Lab equipped with computers and imaging software. In addition to art exhibitions, Art Intersection also hosts classes in various art forms for all experience levels from beginner to expert.
