Town of Cave Creek

Arizona Wild West Festival, Arizona’s newest and largest western/music festival, will take place March 11-13, 2016 in Cave Creek, Ariz. This one-of-a-kind event will feature a number of first time, signature, family-friendly activities including, but not limited to: -Kickin’ ‘n Pickin’: western, country western and southern rock bands battle for the top title as the best local western band around. The two-day music event, which will be judged, will conclude with a prize for the winning musical act. Locations: The Horny Toad, Hideaway Grill, Local Jonny’s, Silver Spur Saloon, the Buffalo Chip Saloon & Steakhouse, Buffalo Chip Saloon, Roadhouse and Harold’s Corral -Guns of Anarchy: top gunfighter performers from around the U.S. will compete during a two-day competition for first, second and third place cash prizes, the largest purse in the West; professionally judged; at Frontier Town -Elegance in History: contestants showcase their best in period correct wardrobe. In addition, Tales from the Past living history characters will come to life and share their characters; professionally judged at Frontier Town -Rope & Chrome: the first western motorcycle contest to showcase the most imaginative western dressed motorcycles and their western dressed riders, among other activities; to be held at the Roadhouse
