A reporter/editor for 35 years, Christina Fuoco-Karasinski discovered the world of journalism through her mother, who worked in corporate for a chain of newspapers in Michigan. Naturally curious, she took her mother’s notepad and wandered through their subdivision, taking notes on her neighbors at age 10. That natural curiosity turned into a three-decade career in journalism, covering everything from President Ronald Reagan’s visit to Detroit to the making of “8 Mile.”. Her credits include Rolling Stone.com, MTV.com, People Magazine, Pollstar, VenuesNow and Billboard. With Michigan Press Association, Arizona Press Club and Arizona Newspaper Association awards under her belt, Christina is most proud of the Donor Champion award she was given by Donor Network of Arizona. Her late father, Pete, was a heart transplant recipient.
