Greg Proops might have given you the wrong impression. You can’t size him up merely by the Whose Line Is It Anyway? episodes that first brought him into your home. You also have to consider his funny business alongside the likes of Drew Carey, Wayne Brady, and Ryan Stiles, as well as a bunch of television appearances, ranging from PBS’ Bob the Builder to Flight of the Conchords.
But where Proops really shines is when he’s given an opportunity to just speak his mind at laugh haunts such as Hollywood’s Comedy Death-Ray and Largo. On Saturday, August 8, Proops and his full-blast, dry sense of humor wrap up a two-night engagement at The Comedy Spot.
