This year the Check, Please! Arizona Festival will take over CityScape in downtown Phoenix on Sunday, March 22. As always the event, which is co-sponsored by New Times, will feature dozens of local restaurants, beer and wine, and appearances from well-known names such as Cullen Campbell of Crudo, Josh Hebert of Posh, and Gio Osso of Virtu Honest Craft.

The festival also includes educational opportunities and panel discussions — including the annual James Beard Award Winners Panel, which will feature chefs Robert McGrath, Nobuo Fukuda, Christopher Gross, and Chris Bianco this year.

Throughout the day attendees will be able to check out cooking demonstrations, panel discussions, and a “wine tour” on three separate stages. Chef Lester Gonzales of Cowboy Ciao and George Frasher and Frasher’s are among the featured chefs.

Festival goers will also be able to audition to appear on the upcoming season of Check, Please! Arizona, the popular restaurant review show hosted by chef Robert McGrath.

Tickets to the event, which all all-inclusive, cost $79 in advance or $89 on the day of the festival. Gates will open at 11 a.m. and the festival ends at 3 p.m. Tickets can be purchased on the Check, Please! Arizona Festival website.
