When it comes to eating healthy, the general assumption is that it’s a pain in the butt and pretty expensive. But since opening its first fast-casual restaurant in Scottsdale last year, GrabbaGreen has been proving neither assumption is true.

The restaurant, which serves an all-natural menu of gluten-free foods, already has two locations in Scottsdale and has now set its sights on a third locale: Downtown Phoenix. GrabbaGreen recently signed a lease at at 50 W. Jefferson at CityScape and will open its newest outlet in December.

The GrabbaGreen concept was developed in 2012 by two Scottsdale moms, Keely Newman and Kelley Bird. Both were looking for healthy, quick ways to feed their kids when cooking at home just wasn’t an option. The result was GrabbaGreen, a health-focused restaurant and juice bar that uses all-natural and organic ingredients and locally-grown produce.
