You gotta have faith.
Or, at least, that rings true for Phoenix Comicon 2014 organizers when it comes to this year’s guests.
The annual massive nerdfest has added Eliza Dushku to its roster. Dushku played bad girl slayer Faith Lehane on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The chocolate to Buffy’s vanilla, Faith stirred up all manner of trouble for the Scoobies, super-loved weaponry and lethal force (and really dark lipstick), and there was also that whole sugar-daddy thing with the Mayor.

Will you step up to support New Times this year?
At New Times, we’re small and scrappy — and we make the most of every dollar from our supporters. Right now, we’re $17,250 away from reaching our December 31 goal of $30,000. If you’ve ever learned something new, stayed informed, or felt more connected because of New Times, now’s the time to give back.
One for Joss Whedon projects, Dushku also starred in Dollhouse and Angel, which found Faith redeeming herself and fighting baddies with Buffy’s ex.
Comedian, self-proclaimed “fartist,” and Deadpool writer/fanboy Brian Posehn has also been added to the weekend’s bill. Alongside him will be John Rhys Davies (a.k.a. Gimli from The Lord of the Rings) and Supernatural‘s Mark Sheppard.
As previously reported, Bruce Campbell will get in on the Comicon action, too.
Phoenix Comicon 2014 will take place from Thursday, June 5, to Sunday, June 8, at the Phoenix Convention Center.
