The Weeknd’s After Hours Til Dawn tour kicks off its last leg Friday at State Farm Arena before hitting a slew of North American stadiums before it wraps in September. The show launched in 2022 and supports the artist’s last three album releases: After Hours, Dawn FM, and Hurry Up Tomorrow. The night features opener Playboi Carti and special guest Mike Dean, a producer, multi-instrumentalist and longtime Weeknd collaborator.
As the event is scheduled to happen soon, let’s knock out a couple of questions:
Is this my last chance to see The Weeknd?
Doubtful. The singer, whose birth name is Abel Makkonen Tesfaye, has alluded to retiring moniker The Weeknd in more than one interview. A series of billboards at the end of 2024, along with his own posts on X that popped up before the release of Hurry Up Tomorrow, read ‘The End Is Near,’ added to the speculation. So, while the name may go into retirement, it seems like the artist, who has blown up Spotify with listening numbers in the billions, will be keeping on.
How do I get tickets?
Go to the State Farm Stadium site and click the ‘Buy tickets’ link. If the concert is sold out, the link will take you to their resale partner, where you can find seats at various prices.
State Farm Stadium has a very specific bag policy, but we have you covered. Take a peek so you won’t be stuck running back to your car – we’ve seen it happen, it’s no fun.
