Arizona Renaissance Festival
Audio By Carbonatix
Synchronize your watches and tighten your corsets, local merrymakers. The Arizona Renaissance Festival is returning for 2026 this weekend, offering a medieval escape in the middle of the desert.
The annual event runs from Jan. 31 to March 29, transforming a 50-acre site east of Gold Canyon into Fairhaven, a Tudor-style village with merriment and attractions galore.
Entertainment fills the village at every turn with 16 stages of music and live entertainment. There’s also full-contact jousting, a repast of food and drink, and an artisan marketplace with hundreds of vendors. Patrons can also encounter fairies, dragons, rogue and royalty during the experience.
Here’s everything to know about the 2026 Arizona Renaissance Festival, including ticket prices, discounts, dates and more.

Arizona Renaissance Festival bag policy
Patrons can bring bags of any size — including purses, backpacks and diaper bags — into the festival. They do not need to be clear. All bags are subject to search by festival security upon entry through the front gate.
Can I bring water to the Arizona Renaissance Festival?
Yes. A single 16- or 24-ounce factory-sealed bottle of water is allowed.
What else is allowed at the festival?
You can bring in any sort of sun protection, including hats, sunglasses, umbrellas and sunblock. Comfortable shoes are also a must, considering all the walking you’ll be doing. A bag or backpack is a good idea, as is a certain amount of cash (it’s always faster than plastic). It gets a bit dusty at times, so consider bringing a dust mask or bandanna if you have any issues.
