The third annual Tempe Blooms free street festival filled the downtown district with thousands of visitors and even more flowers.
On Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 24 and 25, the Downtown Tempe Authority and Arizona Flower Market turned several blocks of the city into a wonderland.
Twenty-one large-scale floral installations created by local designers dotted the area. Ten Valley artists painted works live on-site inspired by the theme “Growth in Bloom.” Four DJs and 16 musical acts performed at 10 locations over the course of the weekend.
The Flowerful Market allowed guests to shop from about 60 vendors, including building their own bouquets at presenting sponsor Arizona Flower Market. Experts led floral design seminars as well.
Here’s a look at all the action in downtown Tempe.
