New year, new art.
One of our cultural highlights of last year was easily ARTELPHX. So imagine our excitement when the The Clarendon Hotel announced that it would be brining in a new batch of multimedia art displays come May of 2015.
The weekend show, set to open Thursday, May 14, through Saturday, May 16, will once again transform the four-story hotel into a free gallery of audio, visual, and interactive works by more than 20 artists.

But before it can even begin the makeover process, the hotel needs artists to make their ideas known. ARTELPHX is giving interested artists until Monday, April 20, to submit their proposals for the spring show.
Artists are advised to do their research ahead of time and propose installations that are tailored to a specific location in the hotel (i.e. rooftop deck, pool deck, guest room, lobby, etc.). Submissions can include everything from dance to digital video, and it should be noted that innovation is key.
If selected, artists are responsible for supplying their own materials, transportation, and installation. Previous artists have turned to sponsors to help make this possible. Entry forms can be e-mailed to artelphx@gmail.com. For more information, visit artelphx.com.
