$10,000

Save your napkins, envelopes and scrap pieces of paper, because DOODLES is looking into what you’re drawing while you’re supposed to be doing something else.

When Carla and John Logan opened Carly’s Bistro on Roosevelt Street in downtown Phoenix, they had a few friends (read: great local artists) help decorate the place.

Namely, the artists dropped off their sketchpads and doodles, which now lie under a thick layer of resin on the bar and on a few of the restaurant tables. Here’s just a sample of the collection.

The bar at Carly’s Bistro, 128 E Roosevelt Street, also features work by the Fortoul brothers and Brian Boner, among others.
