Back in the day, watching “The Price Is Right” on the couch with some soup was the best part of staying home sick from school.

Now, we’re all grown up, Bob Barker is dead and we don’t have time to take sick days anyway.

But we all can relive those golden game show moments when “The Price Is Right LIVE,” an interactive, family-friendly stage show, comes to Chandler Center for the Arts on Sept. 28.

First, the bad news: This isn’t the official game show, which means it won’t be televised and you won’t get your 15 minutes of fame.

Now, the good news: You can actually win prizes, up to and including a brand-new car.

Randomly selected contestants will get a chance to play everyone’s favorite “The Price Is Right” games, including Plinko, Cliffhangers, spinning the big wheel and bidding on the Showcase. Lucky audience members can even win prizes right from their seat.

There will be two shows on Sept. 28, one at 3 p.m. and one at 7 p.m. Regular admission tickets run $45 to $65. Special packages are available. The VIP Meet & Greet Experience includes a premium reserved ticket located in the first five rows, photo meet-and-greet with show personnel, express check-in and exclusive merch. The Spin The Big Wheel Experience includes a premium reserved ticket located in the first 10 rows, an opportunity to spin the Big Wheel after the show, a photo with the Big Wheel, express check-in and exclusive merch.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday. Visit the Chandler Center for the Arts website or call 480-782-2680.
