If your 2026 resolution is to be more spontaneous (or watch more movies), there’s no time like the present to start.
Harkins Theatres is back with a special horror movie installment of its Secret Cinema series on Monday, Dec. 22. Here’s how it works: You buy a $5 ticket (actually $6.85 with taxes and fees) and show up at one of 13 Harkins locations at 7 p.m. When the lights go down, you’ll find out what soon-to-be-released film you’re about to see.
The only clues we’ve got are that it’s a rated-R horror flick and the runtime is two hours and 30 minutes, although that stated runtime might be a placeholder so as not to give away what film audiences will get to see.
Earlier Secret Cinema titles this year have included Australian horror flick “Bring Her Back,” Stephen King adaptation “The Life of Chuck,” Channing Tatum crime flick “Roofman” and musical drama “Song Sung Blue.”
You can catch the film at the following Harkins locations:
- Arizona Mills 18, 5000 S. Arizona Mills Circle, Tempe
- Arrowhead Fountains 18, 16046 N Arrowhead Fountains Center Drive, Peoria
