We saw a lot during Phoenix Fashion Week 2012 at Talking Stick. Some of it was good, lots of it was bad, and there was definitely some ugly involved.

The Good: Dubai designer-to-the-divas Furne One presented a collection every bit as outlandish and imaginative as we’d hoped. With extravagant headpieces, sculpted dresses, and intricate details, the line was reminiscent of the late Alexander McQueen.

The Bad: Oh, our bad. We were under the impression that Fashion Week was about clothes — not 16-year-olds shrieking like they’re watching Justin Bieber barf onstage.

The Ugly: Sorry we’re not sorry about how disappointed we were watching Sew Twisted styles take to the runway on Friday. With ill-fitting garments, unfinished hems, and little artistic focus, it was the weakest collection we saw during Fashion Week.
