Scientist Dr. Neil Degrasse Tyson is heading out on tour in 2025, and one of his stops is in Phoenix.

He’ll appear at Arizona Financial Theatre on Tuesday, June 3.

The name of the program is “An Astrophysicist Goes to the Movies – Part II,” and it features Tyson giving an entertaining and enlightening review of all the science that our favorite movies got wrong, combined with some of the things they got right.

Tyson will discuss films such as “The Wizard of Oz,” “Mary Poppins,” “2001: A Space Odyssey,” “A Bug’s Life” and the “Harry Potter” film series.
