The year I turned 12 I took all of the money I had saved doing, well, I don’t think I did anything, except for pry open my mother’s unattended purse, and took a bus to Scottsdale Fashion Square, marched right into Diamond’s, and bought the coolest pair of light brown corduroy Ralph Lauren pants.
