Since there’s really no better accessory than a cocktail in your hand, each week brings you a tasty adult beverage from one of our favorite drinking establishments, complete with recipe. This week:
Café ZuZu, the retro bar and lounge area inside Scottsdale’s Hotel Valley Ho, has “stay-cation” written all over it. And while the hotel rooms are sweet, the hotel’s drinks are even sweeter.
The Ricky Ricardo is a real OG. While other cocktails have come and gone on ZuZu’s cocktail list, this one stands the test of time and once it hits your lips, you’ll understand why.

Ingredients:
2 oz. Three Olives Cherry Vodka
½ oz. Fresh-Squeezed Lime Juice
3 oz. Ginger Ale
In a shaker– combine vodka, lime juice, ginger ale, and ice. Shake; use care when shaking this Valley Ho due to carbonation. Garnish with a lime wedge and cherry, serve in a chilled martini glass. Use this liquid courage to fake a sweet accent and introduce yourself to other “out of town-ers”. Hey, it might buy your next round.
