When the Chandler Ostrich Festival returns from March 13 to 15 and March 20 to 22, the popular event will have a new place to roost.

This year, the event moves to Rawhide Western Town and Event Center, which offers more room for the festival to spread its wings.

The annual springtime event, which ties into the city of Chandler’s history of ostrich farming, will feature appearances by its titular birds, as well as rides, games, food vendors, live entertainment and nightly concerts by big-name recording artists.

When and where is the Chandler Ostrich Festival?

The 2026 Ostrich Festival runs back-to-back weekends (March 13 to March 15 and March 20 to March 22) at Rawhide Event Center, 5700 W. North Loop Road in Chandler, which is southwest of the Interstate 10 Freeway and Wild Horse Pass Boulevard.

How much are Chandler Ostrich Festival tickets?

Tickets for the 2026 Ostrich Festival are available at ostrichfestival.com.

Tickets cost $30, $20 for ages 5 to 12. Children 4 and younger get in free. VIP passes are $135.

All general admission tickets include entry for the chosen day and all concerts taking place on that day.

VIP tickets include admission, access to the VIP area and VIP front-of-stage viewing area (limited capacity), private bars and bathrooms, a catered meal and three beverages.

Individual ride tickets cost $1 each, with three to 10 tickets required per ride.

The public can get $1 off admission by purchasing tickets at Bashas and Food City supermarkets throughout metro Phoenix.

Parking

Lots are available at Rawhide off of West North Loop Road. General admission parking is $13 online and $15 at the event. VIP parking is closer to the main entrance and is $33 online.

Yes. The Ostrich Festival allows same-day re-entry. Check with security at entry gates for details and instructions.

Chandler Ostrich Festival bag policy

Bags that are clear plastic, PVC or vinyl and aren’t larger than 12 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches are permitted. Smaller bags and non-clear bags that measure 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches, with or without a handle or strap, will also be allowed.

Festival attendees are permitted to bring in one factory-sealed bottle of water or refillable plastic or aluminum bottles, which can be refilled at stations inside the park.

The festival’s selection of 36 rides will be set up on the northwest side of the park and will include options both quaint and thrilling. A variety of midway-style games will also be available for play.

Where can I see the ostriches?

The festival’s titular birds will be roaming freely throughout the “Ostrich Experience,” an enclosed outdoor area in the southeast portion of the park.

What can I bring to Chandler Ostrich Festival?

Your smartphone, comfortable footwear, sun protection, blankets and a government-issued ID.

What isn’t allowed?

Anything dangerous, including weapons, fireworks, and illegal substances. Skateboards, outside food and drinks (with the exception of sealed water bottles), noisemaking devices, laser pointers, ice chests, professional photo or video equipment, professional camera or glass containers are also forbidden.
