When we last put the spotlight on 100 creative forces in Phoenix, it was no secret there were more than 100 individuals who were making waves in the local arts community. So as we count down to our annual Best of Phoenix issue, we're profiling 100 more. Welcome (back) to 100 Creatives.

Julie C. Kent's originally from upstate New York, but she grew up in Arizona and graduated from ASU with a degree in business.

She currently owns Here on the Corner, a men's and women's boutique close to ASU campus. She says she does her best to fill the store with designs from local artists and products that support a cause including TOMS and All of the Above Clothing.

I came to Phoenix . .. when I was 7 years old.

I support the art scene because . . . the people that create it are amazing, it often tells a story and inspires.

I'm most productive . . . in the morning. The busier I am the more productive I am as well.

My inspiration wall is full of . . . quotes and pictures.

I've learned the most from . . . my best friend and husband.

Good work should always . . . reflect what YOU stand for.

The Phoenix creative scene could use . . . more things going on in the summer and indoors! Lots goes on other times of the year but lacks in the hot months.

The Creatives, so far ... (And while you're here, check out 100 Tastemakers on Chow Bella.)
