The cars of your dreams await at Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale auto auction. The nine-day event at WestWorld of Scottsdale will showcase more than 1,000 luxury, vintage, rare and high-performance vehicles that are auctioned off to the highest bidders.

Will you be able to purchase any of these dream machines? Highly unlikely, but you can always look. While Barrett-Jackson is geared toward big spenders and discerning auto enthusiasts, anyone can swing by and scope out all the automotive eye candy.

An expansive variety of vehicles is showcased at each auction, including high-end vehicles, unique rides, rare production models, and cars featured in Hollywood productions. This year’s Barrett-Jackson, which runs from Jan. 17 to 26 includes a screen-used Batmobile from the 1960s “Batman” television show and a DeLorean rigged to look like the time machine from “Back to the Future.”

There’s also an exhibitor marketplace with hundreds of vendors, auctions of “automobilia," opportunities to ride in the latest hot rods, a vehicle parade, live music, BMX stunt shows and the chance to do plenty of people-watching.
