Actor and comedian Jo Koy announced a tour Monday morning, and Phoenix is on the schedule.

He'll crack up the crowd at PHX Arena on Nov. 22, 2025.

Koy's career began in the mid-'90s at Vegas open mics and really took off during his stint as a regular guest on Chelsea Handler's "Chelsey Lately" talk show from 2009 to 2014. (The pair also dated briefly.)

Koy, whose Filipino-American heritage is the subject of much of his standup, has starred in seven television comedy specials on Comedy Central and Netflix. He's also been in several films, both as live and voice talent, in titles such as "Easter Sunday" and "The Haunted Mansion."

Koy hasn't always been the subject of acclaim; he got some fairly serious backlash after hosting the 2024 Golden Globes due to some misogynistic jokes during his monologues, mostly about the "Barbie" movie and its box office nemesis, "Oppenheimer."

Case in point: "'Oppenheimer' is based on a 721-page Pulitzer Prize-winning book about the Manhattan Project, and 'Barbie' is on a plastic doll with big boobies.” Oof.

We're willing to bet Koy will stay off such topics during the upcoming Just Being Koy tour.

Presale for the Phoenix show will begin at noon on Tuesday, May 6. The main ticket sale begins at noon on Friday, May 9.
