Gamers of Arizona, start digging through the closet for your old skateboard controllers.

Tony Hawk is set to appear at the 2025 Game On Expo, the three-day multimedia gaming and anime event running from April 4 to 6 at the Phoenix Convention Center.

The legendary professional skateboarder and entrepreneur, whose exploits inspired several best-selling video games in the ’90s and 2000s, will be a special guest at the event.

According to the event’s website, Hawk is scheduled to appear at Game On Expo on Saturday, April 5. He will sign autographs and pose for photos, both of which will be available for an additional fee.

It will be Hawk’s first-ever appearance at a convention.

He joins the roster of previously announced guests for the 2025 Game On Expo, including actors Steve Downes, the voice of Master Chief in the “Halo” series and David Bateson, who portrays Agent 47 in the “Hitman” series.

How to get Tony Hawk’s autograph at Game On Expo 2025

Hawk will autograph prints, skateboards and copies of his video games during his appearance at Game On Expo 2025 on April 5. He’ll even sign skateboard-shaped wireless controllers, which were originally manufactured by Activision in 2010 for use with the game “Tony Hawk: Ride.”

Autograph sessions will occur from 10 to 11 a.m., noon to 1:30 p.m., and 2:30 to 7:30 p.m., according to Game On Expo organizers.

Autographs can be purchased via the Game On Expo website. Prices for each item are as follows:
  • Prints and Tony Hawk video games: $109.60 each
  • Funko Pop figures: $131.32 each
  • Skateboard deck or skateboard controllers: $163.90 each
Autograph prices do not include items, which must be brought by Game On Expo attendees, or admission to the event.

Hawk will also participate in professional photo ops, which are $130 each for up to four attendees. A schedule for photo op sessions has not been released.

Game On Expo organizers strongly recommend pre-purchasing autographs and photo-ops with Hawk due to limited availability.
