Hungry for your early morning serving of food news, with no preservatives or additives?
Summer SanctuaryParadise Valley’s luxurious Elements wants to feed you this summer — so they came up with an “affordable” prixe-fixe menu for two to lure the foodies in. Created by executive chef Beau McMillian, guests can enjoy their choice of tomato and watermelon gazpacho or local organic greens with a soy sesame vinaigrette to start, pasta, chicken or shrimp tempura for the main course and either the PB Bomb or strawberry rhubarb funnel cake for dessert. Chef Beau & Co. are even throwing in a half bottle of Veuve Clicquot (that means fancy French champagne). The new three-course prixe-fixe menu starts at $100 ++ and will be served from 5:30 till 9 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday. Call 480-607-2300 for reservations.
Chocolate Breakfast SmoothieChocolate for breakfast? Yes please! Once summer hits, we ditch the pancakes and go for fruit smoothies. We love Linda Wagner’s Chocolate Smoothie — bananas, chocolate powder, almond milk and Stevia. Quick, vegan, and sugar free. The perfect breakfast or anytime snack.

Will you step up to support New Times this year?
At New Times, we’re small and scrappy — and we make the most of every dollar from our supporters. Right now, we’re $15,500 away from reaching our December 31 goal of $30,000. If you’ve ever learned something new, stayed informed, or felt more connected because of New Times, now’s the time to give back.
