Phoenix travelers can now make a stop in Flavortown before they jet off to their next destination. Food Network star and celebrity chef Guy Fieri has opened Flavortown Kitchen + Bar at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.
The restaurant is now open in Terminal 4 near gate D11. The frosted-tipped chef’s eatery is known for its Trash Can Nachos, wings and a decadent Bacon Mac ‘n’ Cheeseburger. It joins a growing roster of new local- and celebrity-backed spots at the airport.
Those include an outpost of the popular Valley taqueria Tacos Chiwas, which arrived in June, and the cocktail bar SanTan Spirit House, which the Chandler brewery and distillery opened in August. Fellow Food Network icon Bobby Flay also has a restaurant in Terminal 4 called Bobby’s Burgers.
Travelers can belly up to Flavortown’s bar for a margarita made with Santo Tequila – Fieri and rocker Sammy Hagar’s agave brand – or order eats for any time of day.
“We’re doing hand-stretched pizzas, we’re doing breakfast, we’re doing a grab-and-go, awesome bar, craft cocktails right here in Phoenix,” Fieri said in a video shared by Sky Harbor on social media.
This is Fieri’s second Phoenix restaurant. He opened Guy Fieri’s DTPHX Kitchen + Bar inside the Caesars Sportsbook next to Chase Field in 2022.
Flavortown Kitchen and SanTan Spirit House will host a grand opening on Oct. 8.
“Terminal 4, you can’t beat it. Come on down,” Fieri said in the video. “As the mayor of Flavortown, I invite you.”
