OpenTable is most frequently used to help customers make reservations at restaurants. Now, it’s gathered data from customer demand and ranked the nation’s top 100 restaurants for 2025.
Three Arizona eateries made the cut. And clearly, OpenTable users have expensive taste.
Cafe Monarch, Ocean 44 and Steak 44 represent Arizona on the list.
The romantic, fine dining restaurant Cafe Monarch is located on the Southwest corner of Indian School Road and Goldwater Boulevard in Old Town Scottsdale. It serves tasting menus that range from $145 to $270 per person, with wine pairings starting at $175 and topping out at $1,500.

Steak 44
Ocean 44 and Steak 44 are part of the national chain built by the Mastro family. Their company, Prime Steak Concepts, owns Steak 48, Steak 44, Dominick’s Steakhouse, Ocean 44 and Ocean 48, which have locations in Chicago, Houston, Philadelphia, Charlotte, Beverly Hills and more.
Ocean 44 is located at Scottsdale Fashion Square, just to the north of the mall, and Steak 44 serves customers on the northeast corner of Camelback Road and 44th Street. Both restaurants have very similar menus, where cuts of meat range from $65 to $295 and there’s a whole section dedicated to caviar, ranging up to $350.
While the company behind the steakhouses is locally owned, we’d love to have seen some smaller, independent spots on the list. Phoenix is home to many exceptional eateries, featuring top-notch chefs who continually innovate in the kitchen. And many of those meals will cost you less than your mortgage payment.
