Each month, restaurants serve their final meals around the Valley. At the end of March, two local craft beer destinations poured their last pints. A duo of brunch spots slung their final stacks of pancakes, and out-of-towners from Utah and San Diego shut their doors. Here are the most recent restaurant closures in Phoenix.
Myungrang Hotdogs
The international chain known for its fully loaded Korean-style corndogs has closed its Glendale location within the Westgate Entertainment District. It served unique creations stuffed with cheese, topped with crispy potatoes and sprinkled with Hot Cheto dust. One Valley location of the chain remains open in Mesa.
Brekky/Brunch
Brekky/Brunch opened two years ago on the corner of Germann and Alma School roads in Chandler. The modern, casual restaurant served pancake stacks and classic egg dishes along with mimosa flights and giant cinnamon rolls. It is now permanently closed.

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe, an all-day chain that formerly had 11 Valley locations, closed six of them on March 12.

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe
Utah-based chain Kneaders Bakery & Cafe abruptly closed six of its 11 Valley locations in mid-March. The company closed its spots in Ahwatukee, Avondale, Chandler, Gilbert’s SanTan Village, Surprise and Tempe. The fast-casual restaurants serve pastries and breakfast staples along with soups, salads and sandwiches.
Mr. Moto Pizza
San Diego-based pizzeria chain Mr. Moto Pizza has closed its only Arizona location. The restaurant, located on the corner of Camelback Road and 40th Street, opened less than three years ago. It served a selection of pies in classic and creative flavors. The chain’s other locations are in California and Nevada.
Taproom 120
The Gilbert bar, known for geek rights and punk rock, has hosted its last shows. The bar went “out with a bang,” after a weekend filled with a pair of punk and metal concerts. It opened in December 2022 and was one of the Valley’s more unique craft beer taprooms. Along with live music, it featured pinball machines and other arcade games and hosted a wide range of events, from wrestling matches in the parking lot to horror fandom gatherings. Following the weekend’s final festivities, the bar has permanently closed.

Taproom & Arcade, remains open in downtown Mesa.
