Bakeshops and restaurants around the Valley are ready to wow your friends and family with classic and creative desserts. Opt for a standout pumpkin pie or get a little wild with a French silk or Dutch honey dessert. Some spots require pre-orders and scheduled pickup times, others offer drop-in pie shopping.
Here’s where and how to secure the goods this Thanksgiving.
Amadio Ranch
4701 W. Dobbins Road, Laveen Village
If you prefer to pick your pie once you see the selection, plan a trip to Amadio Ranch this Thanksgiving season. The Laveen ranch will offer a wide variety of pies ($25-28) available daily starting on Nov. 19. There are no pre-orders accepted, so walk in and peruse the options ranging from sweet caramel apple to tart strawberry rhubarb. Classic, bourbon or caramel pecan pies will also be available, along with multiple varieties of cheesecake. For any very last-minute pie emergencies, Amadio Ranch will also be open and selling sweets on Thanksgiving Day.

BEG Bakery

For anyone looking be absolutely sure everyone can enjoy dessert this Thanksgiving, look no further than BEG Bakery. The Scottsdale bakery is entirely plant-based, and many of its desserts also avoid gluten. This holiday, opt for vegan and gluten-free chocolate cream, apple crumble or classic pumpkin pies (all $40). Online orders are available through Nov. 23, and pick-ups can be set for Nov. 25 or 26.

For a Thanksgiving table showstopper, order dessert from Chaconne Patisserie. Preorders are available through Nov. 23 for pick up on Nov. 26. Pick between a Dutch honey, oat, apple and huckleberry pie ($75) or the Maple bourbon pecan tart with caramel mascarpone Anglaise ($80). The bakery also serves individual Thanksgiving-themed treats along with breads, rolls and danishes. Customers can pick up orders at the bakery’s locations in Scottsdale and Phoenix.

Chompie’s is the perfect spot for last-minute shoppers. The local chain has locations all around the Valley, and pies don’t require pre-orders. Stop by any Chompie’s in town between Nov. 24 and Thanksgiving to pick up your family’s dessert. Available flavors include classics such as pumpkin and apple ($14.99) as well as decadent flavors including chocolate cream and lemon meringue ($16.99).
Common Ground Culinary

Common Ground Culinary, the group behind Valley spots The Neighborly, The Collins, The Macintosh, Sweet Provisions and more, is offering multiple flavors of pies this fall. Customers can place orders through Nov. 23 and pick up their pie on Nov. 25 or 26. Stop in at one of the restaurants to place an order, or secure your pie online through Sweet Provisions. Available flavors include pumpkin, key lime, coconut cream, butterscotch pecan, gluten-free chocolate mousse and apple ($24 to 28).
The Dinersaur
1339 W. Thomas Road
Midtown Phoenix bakeshop The Dinersaur is ready with a selection of creative pies this Thanksgiving. Options include a Black Bottom Oatmeal pie with a layer of dark chocolate on the bottom, a maple buttermilk pie or a pumpkin chiffon pie ($45 each). The bakery also has cream biscuits, personal-size pies, potato buns and other seasonal goodies available for preorder online. Orders will be open until the shop sells out, and pick-ups can be scheduled for Nov. 25, 26 or Thanksgiving Day in the morning.
