The local chain has locations throughout the Valley, but we’re partial to the multi-story bar off Central Avenue in downtown Phoenix. The space maintains a cavernous, dark feel despite chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. Make your way up to the second floor and grab a seat by the railing to overlook the festivities below. Then, grab a Guinness on draft and chow down on a mouthwatering pasty, which is almost like an extremely elevated hot pocket in flavors such as tikka masala, Greek-style and even cheeseburger. With nearly 50 pasties on their menu, you’ll never run out of new ones to try. Plus, after you’ve filled up on the breaded wonder that is a pasty, grab a pool table and play a round or two while finishing up that Guinness.
