We want to give this homey spot all the love while selfishly wanting to keep it a secret, but here we are, spilling our feelings. Tucked away in a busy strip mall, this diminutive bar, where shelves of wine bottles line the walls, is gloriously unpretentious. The crowd and staff are welcoming, and the vibe is a perfect blend of relaxed and fun. On our first visit, we found ourselves grabbing a couch with some other patrons and chatting the night away. In addition to the wine options, the food menu is full of savory eats, including a crock of Charleston pimento cheese and Moroccan spiced meatballs with housemade tzatziki. The name of the place may come from the Rolling Stones song “Far Away Eyes,” but this joint is near and dear.
