Nocawich

Lauren Saria
What Eliot Wexler started as quick-paced lunch menu at the now-closed Noca restaurant became Nocawich, a breakfast and lunch joint specializing in sides, salads, and of course, sandwiches – which come under names like the Cisco Kid, Clubber Lang, Meyer Lansky, and the Italian Stallion. One of the more desired items off the Nocawich menu is the What the Cluck? Sandwich, starring the much missed fried chicken of Noca fame paired with slaw, B&B pickles, and honey Dijon all on a parker roll. You’ll also find a breakfast sandwich, breakfast burrito, patty melt, noca Sack Lunch, and a NY Bagel and lox option. Sides are also to be taken seriously at Nocawich, which include the nocaSlaw, dirty potato chips, and thrice cooked fries. Find Nocawich in the College Avenue corridor just north of Arizona State University in Tempe.
