The watering hole was brought to life by the creators of the upscale French bistro Sottise and Restaurant Progress, and is a humble counterpart where you can order a $3 Bud Heavy and the messiest sloppy joe of your dreams. Their events mirror the bar’s dingy demeanor: a sickening, boisterous hot dog-eating contest. A late-night Halloween party. Sidewinder has quickly become a moody, classic neighborhood staple.
