Sushi Loco, located in a space formerly occupied by one of the biggest Chinese food buffets on the west side, is a sleek restaurant and bar specializing in Mexican sushi and seafood. The expansive menu includes staples like ceviche and shrimp tostadas, along with specialty sushi rolls. The most popular rolls here are of the deep-fried variety, including the Cielo, Mar y Tierra, which comes with shrimp, beef, and chicken. There is also the house Sushi Loco Roll, made with lobster, shrimp, and salmon. For something lighter, opt for the mango roll, a slightly sweet shrimp roll garnished with slivers of fresh mango. The restaurant, which has a dance floor and stage, hosts karaoke nights through the week, and live music and dancing on the weekends.
