Sushinola Roll

Sushinola, a Mex-sushi concept in west Phoenix with both a food truck and brick-and-mortar location, is the place to go when you’re craving Sinaloan-style sushi, with an emphasis on Sinaloa. You’ll find many rolls inspired by classic Sinaloan seafood dishes, including a delicious, if messy, take on aguachile, which is popularly known as the West Coast take on ceviche. The spicy shrimp cocktail is ladled over your roll of crab sushi for a kind of soupy seafood feast. The kitchen always seems to be experimenting with new rolls, so this is the place to come for sushi rolls made with octopus, mango, or perhaps a roll smothered in deeply caramelized slices of bananas.
